Volunteer

Chapters EventAn essential part of any charity is a core group of volunteers. There is always something that needs to be done and more hands make lighter work for everyone involved with a group.

Many thanks to all those that dedicate their time to make saving these precious lives a reality! Without our wonderful volunteers and fosters, these critters would never get a second chance!

Want to help? Adopt. Foster. Donate. Volunteer. Together we can make a difference.

OUTREACH

Aside from rescuing homeless critters, education is another top priority of the rescue. If the public knew more about the proper care of these animals, and how to be a responsible pet owner, there would be less of a need for rescues like ours. If you are a comfortable public speaker and would like to help plan and give presentations on behalf of the rescue, we want to hear from you!

FUNDRAISING

We also have need of enthusiastic volunteers to take part in our frequent fundraising drives. If you have ideas for your own event to raise money for the critters, or would like to help with ongoing fundraisers, please let us know!

TRANSPORTATION

Our rescue covers the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador, however most of our foster animals and volunteers are located in the St. John’s area. We are often in need of people to transport animals to new adoptive homes in other areas of the province, or to pick up animals that are being surrendered. If you travel across the province often and have space for a little critter, please let us know.
